Things have been put in perspective

Hi folks

It is a long while since my last post – but recently a cousin of mine and very good friend (drinking buddy over the past 20 years) was killed in a car accident.

I haven’t felt like doing much recently and my internet business ambitions have went into a bit of a freefall – I just haven’t been able to focus properly and move on with John’s masterclass course.

Instead I just took a complete break from it and now I feel recharged and refocused. The positive spin is that life is way too short, we dont know what is round the corner for us (possibly better of we dont) and it is VITAL that we do what makes us happy and live out our true life’s purpose.

Internet entrepreneurship is my life’s purpose.

I will be back posting shortly with some insights on how I am progressing with – niche selection – product creation etc – Online marketers whom I have met and trust and whom we can learn a lot from – creating an effective swipe file etc.. etc..

I will also be concentrating my focus more on not trying to reinvent the wheel and utilising to good effect what is already out there and works…. Reinforcing the motto of this blog – ‘Following successful entrepreneurs footsteps – My pathway to success’

Will speak soon

Would like to hear from anyone on the course, particularly new students

All the best
Cormac

  1. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are right to focus on what you can control and what brings you some measure of happiness. I have found that just jumping in and going forward can help. I look forward to your next post. Be patient with yourself and this crazy world,
    Jen

  2. Hope you get back into this soon Cormac, it can be very enjoyable once you get into the groove. 8) Internet Marketing isn’t a quick fix however, it took me 18 months before I started to relax about it, and understood what I was actually doing.

I started the Masterclass in 2009 but dropped out at lesson 10 because of Information Overload. Now everything is much easier, and I will restart the course in January 2011, (you can stop and restart at any time with the Masterclass). 8)

I’m 56 and once you realise you’re on the second half of your life, you want to make every day count. Make sure you enjoy whatever you decide to do. ;-)

Thanks very much for the kind words and advice.

I intend getting back on track with my blog very shortly and am currently working on developing a product which I am very passionate about.

I intend getting the blog restructured very soon, to reflect a more business focus.

    Cheers

  4. Hello Cormac

As a former masterclass student, I wish you all the best for the course and sympathise with you over your loss. I know it can take quite some time to get back into the swing of things, but they are rally never the same as you have a different perspective on life.

  5. Thanks Simon – I hope to get back with the course in the new Year
